Tonight we had an interactive meeting where we brainstormed activities for the upcoming months. In a design thinking based, “Round Robin” format, we came up with dozens of ideas for presentations, community service projects and fun activities to do in the upcoming months. Feel free to join us and help shape and participate in our events!
We were also happy to welcome a visitor from the international Rotaract club in Heidelberg, Markus!
On September 16th members from the Rotaract Club Berlin International traveled to Hamburg to help our partner Rotaract Club, Hamburg-City, with their annual Jenisch Park run. The Rotaracters raised about 18,000 Euros for the Hamburg Arche.
We had so much fun helping out and getting to know the Hamburg-based Rotaracters! We are looking forward to deepening our partnership!
Tonight we had a lounge meeting and went mini-golfing. Not just “regular” mini-golfing: the course was neon and we wore 3D glasses!
On September 6th, Cynthia Salim, founder of the sustainable luxury fashion brand Citizens’ Mark, joined our club to talk about impact entrepreneurship and her company. This inspiring presentation taught us to go beyond what we and others think is possible and to keep pushing boundaries, both self-and externally imposed. Thanks, Cynthia!
A few weeks ago we had the first-ever Rotaract Berlin family meeting! Rotaracters from all four clubs came together to get to know each other and discuss a joint community service project.

On August 30th ZDF television correspondent Mathis Feldhoff joined our club to speak about his recent documentary centered around the campaign for the chancellery between Angela Merkel and Martin Schulz. The documentary “Macht! Kamp! Wahl!” can be found in the ZDF mediathek for those who are interested in viewing it. We were happy to welcome Rotaracters from the other Berliner clubs as well!

Last night we held a meeting about Rotaract membership and what it means to be a part of Rotaract Club Berlin International! We are so happy that there were so many interested people and look forward to the next steps in founding this club!
Last night we organized the first all club Rotaract Berlin meeting at BRLO brewery. We are so happy the representatives from all four Berliner clubs attended and that we were all able to get to know each other! We also presented and discussed an all club community service project. Yesterday we joined Rotaract clubs from all over the district for the annual canoeing tour in the Spreewald in Brandenburg. A huge part of Rotaract is friendship and activities like these are the perfect way to get connected with other Rotaract clubs!
