Soccer: The Universal Language

Last Sunday members from our club organized a soccer tournament together with residents from the refugee shelter in Berlin-Buch. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a lot of fun! We hope to do a similar event in the future. Send us a message if you would like to join!

New Community Service Project

In our search for a community service project with refugees we visited a shelter today in Berlin-Buch. We had a great time checking out the shelter and speaking to the volunteer coordinator.

There are plenty of opportunities for us to get involved with the resident community, be it by cooking together, playing sports or doing arts and crafts. We are looking forward to our cooperation with the Gemeinschaftsunterkunft Wolfang-Heinz-Straße!

Send this page a message or check out our facebook page if you are interested in helping out as well.

Rotaracters Helping Rotaracters

On September 16th members from the Rotaract Club Berlin International traveled to Hamburg to help our partner Rotaract Club, Hamburg-City, with their annual Jenisch Park run. The Rotaracters raised about 18,000 Euros for the Hamburg Arche.

We had so much fun helping out and getting to know the Hamburg-based Rotaracters! We are looking forward to deepening our partnership!

Face Painting, Hopscotch and Water Colors

On Saturday afternoon several members of our Rotaract club joined representatives from Serve the City e.V. and spent the afternoon in a refugee shelter playing with the children. We painted their faces (Spiderman and Superman were especially popular symbols that were requested), drew with chalk and used watercolors to paint pictures. What a day!

Playing with Refugee Children

On June 15th our club joined the organization Serve the City e.V. to spend time with refugee children at a shelter near Paulsternstrasse. We spent the afternoon playing with the children, doing arts and crafts and face painting. What a great day!
