This past weekend Rotaract Club Berlin International joined Rotaract Club Hauptstadt in helping out at the Rotaract Germany Committee (RDK) meeting, which took place in Berlin. We helped plan the evening program and also participated in the work-end, where Rotaract developments on national and international level were discussed. What a great way to meet Rotaracters from all over Germany!

Our club also organized a flashmob, which took place Sunday morning in front of the Tempodrom. Thank you to all the Rotaracters who participated in the dance! Stay tuned for the video!

This morning several of our Rotaract guests joined our Rotary partner club Rotary Berlin International at their breakfast meeting. We had the opportunity to introduce our club and talk about collaboration possibilities! We are so excited to see what the upcoming months will bring and look forward to learning from each other and working together.

At our official informational meeting we welcomed Lennard from the Rotaract District 1940 team and Ufuk from our sponsoring club Rotary Berlin International to speak with us about Rotaract and Rotary, respectively. We were happy to welcome so many new guests and four members from RC Berlin International! We look forward to working together in the future.

On June 24th, Rotary District 1940 helds its annual district conference in Berlin. Members of our Rotaract club and the other clubs in the district attended to participate in workshops and hear about the activities of the previous year in both Rotary and Rotaract.

Our third meeting included a brainstorming session about the activitites that our club wants to pursue in the categories “Helping – Celebrating – Learning”. From helping refugees to crossfit sessions to a guided tour of an art collection, the next year is sure to be interesting and exciting!

Our first two meetings included a hang out at St. Oberholz and dinner at District Mot.
