Face Painting, Hopscotch and Water Colors

On Saturday afternoon several members of our Rotaract club joined representatives from Serve the City e.V. and spent the afternoon in a refugee shelter playing with the children. We painted their faces (Spiderman and Superman were especially popular symbols that were requested), drew with chalk and used watercolors to paint pictures. What a day!

Presentation on Integrating Refugees into the German Labor Market

Playing with Refugee Children

On June 15th our club joined the organization Serve the City e.V. to spend time with refugee children at a shelter near Paulsternstrasse. We spent the afternoon playing with the children, doing arts and crafts and face painting. What a great day!

Rotary Kindertag

On July 7th and 8th members of our Rotaract club volunteered at the Berlin Rotary Kindertag. At this event, Rotary and Rotaract clubs throughout Berlin come together to provide children with an unforgetable day of learning and playing. Wine Tasting

Our Rotaract club held a “bring your favorite bottle” wine tasting in a park in Berlin. We were able to try numerous wines throughout the evening and heard the fun stories behind why the Rotaracters chose to bring this particular bottle of wine to the tasting. To be repeated for sure!
